But it is not always welcomed with open arms. Hick Hop is becoming more and more popular, tearing down boundaries and increasing musical creativity within country music. He brought the music genres together and changed country music forever. With similar themes and a shared history, the only real feature separating the two groups are the presentation of the music. Hip hop is also known for artists rapping about cars, partying, and women. Country music is famous for singing about trucks, drinking beer, and women. In addition to the shared history, country music and hip hop also share common themes within their songs. Caucasian performers would paint their faces black and sing the honky-tonk music, displaying the deep-rooted racial separation that country music is notorious for.
